Hello. I am a librarian at a primary school (Pre-K through Second Grade) that's located in Dallas, but it's part of Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. I just finished my fifth year at Sheffield Primary and my fifth year as a librarian. Prior to that, I was a teacher in Fort Worth. I taught first and second grades, Gifted students, LEP (Limited English Proficient) students and mainstreamed special education students. Briefly I considered becoming a school counselor ( I took one semester at UNT), but it didn't fit me. I continued at UNT a few years later through their SLIS graduate program. I call myself Queen B because when my colleagues would ask how are things, I always said I was "as busy as a bee" and I consider myself queen of my domain. It's a great, little queendom with the best books around.
